Oliwia l Senior Session

This is Oliwia,
a Polish beauty who was born in Poland,
but moved to Queens six months after her birth.
Then later moved here, to North Carolina.
She is such a natural and so sweet and fun!
At only 16,
She is such an amazing model
and I can't wait to work with her again :)
She makes me want to shop at Urban Outfitters.

It's been a while, since there isn't one nearby!

Oh Arlene!

Let me tell you a little about my session today.
I had this gorgeous model, who I couldn't have had more fun with!
She is such a great gal,
standing tall at 5'6,
which I thought she was 5'8.
Anyway, as I shot her today
I was totally convinced I was working
with a profession Victoria's Secret model!
She is such a doll and totally fun!
It totally pains me to know she will be moving to Texas shortly
to continue her education.
booooo!
She should continue modeling, because...
let me tell you. She has talent and it needs to be seen!

Thanks for the laughs Arlene and you will do wonderful no matter where you are!

-Diana

P.S. Right before we started the session, I totally locked my keys in my car!
I was sooooo relived I could keep my cool throughout the whole entire shoot!
I got many, many, many, many beautiful shots of Arlene and am still editing!!

Ruth

Ruth was my model for today.
We met via Model Mayhem
and I was so please to have met her.
She was such a joy to photograph.
Her passion for her brand new
modeling hobby is a success.

She knew how to pose and I was pleased
to photographer a rare model who
has such a passion for her possible
career.
People like her just make my photography
career within the fashion industry
just that much better.
I'm enthused to present her
beautiful photographs,
for such a beautiful gal with an amazing personality!

I hope to work with her again in the future,
she was so much fun
and time just flew by with her!
Next thing we knew, we were semi-late
to our dinner dates :)

Thanks so much Ruth!
[Photograph she wanted to recreate, success!]

[She reminds me of a gorgeous New York girl, waiting for something]

[This is one of my favorites! well, they all are!]

[Another recreated photograph, another success!]

[Seductive? I think, yes!]

Before/After

For the longest time,
I have been wanting to do a
before/after shot.

Well, now is my chance.
I captured such a beautiful image
and completely did a 180 on it.

I have had people ask me what type of camera I do use,
and I do answer them, but here is the thing...
It's not just about the nice expensive camera.

[Yes, it does take nice photographs]

But, there is more to it than taking a nice photograph.
Post-production is very important.

It's what makes our images stand out from the rest,
besides our creative eye.

Courtney's Session

After finally choosing a location
to photograph at, I met Courtney and her mom, Lendee.
They were both so great!
We had some giggles here and there.
But most importantly,
we captured these beautiful photographs!

[My personal Favorite!]

Thanks Courtney, for being such a great and willing model!

My Abercrombie Model

School dragged on today.
What's new?
I felt like this semester, I have been in for eternity.
Not sure why?
Maybe I have just been so busy with other things,
to really concentrate in class.
Actually,
Before school this morning,
Andrew and I decided to go to the DMV
to... well, change our license to the cool
horizontal status.
Bar hopping, here we go!
No, not really...

But, while we were at the DMV,
waiting forever...
this cute little girl
no older than 3 was totally crushing on Andrew.
It was really cute and sweet actually,
she would giggle and smile,
even smirk at his direction
and shamelessly hide her face at times.
I did get a little jealous,
JK.
I wish I could have photographed her though,
she was brave enough to sit beside him
and rest her head on him.
So. Freaking. Cute.
Any who,
besides class being a bore, I finally put together
a really cool looking price list.
No more boring "Word" format
now it's got some spunk to it!
Woo hoo!

Oh, and after class, I randomly took Andrew
out to this abandoned house.
It was the first location I went to photograph,
nearly 8 months ago.
This place was a disaster.
weeds and gross plants were attacking
this abandoned area.
Bees were residing within the gun shot wall.
Interesting, yet scary.

I was recently diagnosed with poison ivy...
You would think I learned.

Not that I did get poison ivy,
but you never know.
Abandoned area, plus BIG bushes,
and random plants.
Well, here some photos from today!

Yup. He is my model :)
